Powerful Sound
This instrument combines the wild beauty of classic Guarneris with a dark, full, and resonant tone. The wood came from Roger Hargrave’s collection; I purchased it at an auction at Tarisio with the intention of using it to build a very special instrument.
Sound Body
The concept behind this violin was to achieve a dark, full, soft, yet robust tone. As with most Guarneris, it requires a bit more pressure when playing; those who are comfortable with that will really enjoy this violin. The many details of the dark red oil finish create a charming, appealing appearance and reveal ever-changing nuances—it’s easy to fall in love with.

Shipping
Your instrument will be safely packed and delivered insured to your doorstep by DHL. As soon as the package is delivered by me personally to the post office, you will receive the tracking number. The shipping costs will be paid by us. Import taxes, customs costs and import licenses are not covered by Hellmichviolins.
To ensure that your instrument arrives at your home undamaged, we have developed a secure packaging method. Therefore Hellmichviolins bears the full risk for the transport to you. Please keep the packaging in case you want to return the instrument.
We trust DHL for the shipping.
After the payment is received, the instrument will be shipped to you within 3 business days and takes 2-7 business days depending on the destination. We will keep you informed about the process and provide you with the tracking number.
A shipping as well as return shipping are free of charge for you and are borne by Hellmichviolins during the 30 days trial period.

Trial Month
We want you to feel completely at ease and to be able to test your new instrument in familiar surroundings, so you can take it home with you for 10 days without incurring any costs. Need more time to be completely sure? No problem. We want you to be 100% satisfied. Upon payment of the purchase price, you will have a 30-day trial period for the instrument, which will begin as soon as the instrument arrives.
Option #1:
You can exchange the instrument for one of equal value, higher quality, or lower price, and either pay the difference or receive a refund. To do so, please return it to us in its original packaging, cleaned with a dry cloth.
Option 2:
Return the instrument and receive a 100% refund.
As soon as the instrument is back with us, we will inform you by e-mail. Then we will immediately initiate the transfer of the money back, depending on the transfer method, the process can take up to 7 days.
The instrument is insured for any shipping damage incurred, return shipping is covered by Hellmichviolins.
The 30-day trial period during which you can try out the instrument is also covered by Hellmichviolins. There are, however, some exceptions:
Broken strings, damage caused by transport in a car trunk or on a motorcycle, damage directly or indirectly caused by explosions, chemicals, or radioactivity, loss or damage directly or indirectly caused by war, terrorism, or military operations, damage directly or indirectly caused by corrosion, moisture, dryness, or dust; damage caused by extreme weather conditions such as extreme temperatures or exposure to light; damage caused by earthquakes and other natural disasters; damage or loss resulting from transport by airplane; and damage intentionally caused by you or a third party.

Ordering Process
Not every love lasts forever, which is why we’re happy to accept instruments purchased from us as trade-ins so you can upgrade to a higher-quality model. If the instrument is in its original condition, 100% of the purchase price of the old instrument will be credited toward the new one. You’ll need the original receipt for this.
Consignment instruments and accessories, as well as instruments from other categories (e.g., trading a violin for a cello), are excluded from this offer.
It is normal to see signs of use on beloved and played stringed instruments, on the bridge, fingerboard, strings and varnish. In case of significant damage (cracks, broken corners or edges, deformation, severe varnish damage) and very unkempt instruments, as well as modifications made by other luthiers (bridge, accessories, etc.), we may have to deduct a part of the instrument price or cannot take it back.
We will inform you about the progress of the repair and will perform it on time and reliably. During this time, we will gladly provide you with a replacement instrument free of charge.
Consignment sales are generally possible, but we reserve the right to include only select string instruments in our online catalog. Criteria for inclusion include, for example, sales potential, condition, and price.
If you would like to place an instrument on consignment, please send us photos and scans of any available certificates, as well as additional information (e.g., any damage). If the instrument is suitable for sale through Hellmichviolins, it will be personally inspected, and any necessary sound adjustments or repairs will be made to meet the workshop’s quality standards and facilitate a smooth sale.
The fees for this are only charged when the instrument is sold. The conditions for commission sales are 18%. For the presentation on the Internet, advertising and handling of the sale we charge a flat rate of 150 €.
We accept all major payment methods (Visa, Mastercard, bank transfer, Paypal). Please note, however, that some may incur fees.
